About Us

Through our network of therapists across the country we specialize in providing high quality, thorough behavioral assessments for patients requiring an evaluation and for companies and physicians requesting an assessment as part of their protocol. Unlike many private practices, we primarily focus on behavioral assessments. While we do offer support to our patients for post-op counseling to help them achieve their goals, we made a conscious decision not to be in the business of general therapy, so you can be confident that we will remain focused on our core offerings.

Benefits of Behavioral Assessments

While we began our journey by offering pre-surgical evaluations, we recognized the value that we can bring to many other areas given that our process makes an assessment more accessible, convenient, and cost effective.  Whether it is requested from an insurance company or as an extra layer of due-diligence, behavioral screenings can help assure correct diagnosis, identify risks for poor outcomes, and suggest effective treatment and follow-up services. Even outside of healthcare procedures, behavioral assessments can be a very useful tool for organizations to understand the mindset of a prospective hire and uncover potential red flags to assure the proper fit.

…Made Better with Telemedicine

While cost and convenience come to mind with telehealth, our services go much beyond as our primary focus is quality of care. Unlike traditional counseling engagements, where therapists often take several sessions to build rapport to improve disclosure, psychological evaluations require immediate attention and objectiveness. Therefore, it is critical for the patient to feel comfortable to promote openness in an otherwise anxious experience. We accomplish this by having a very structured and normalized screening process through telemedicine, which facilitates comfort and openness while simultaneously avoiding biases that may creep in with ongoing patient relationships. Our professionals also practice in physical office settings and, hands down, they say our patients open up much more via a telehealth screening. Our therapists obtain more critical information and relevant issues, as the patient feels comfortable and less anxious.
